We are hiring a Junior Motion Graphic Designer to support our creative and production team in a fast-paced commercial environment. This role combines motion design, digital artwork, print artwork, and day-to-day coordination with clients and suppliers. You will help turn briefs into high-quality assets across video, social, web, email, presentations, and print, and you will support the full workflow from first concept and layout through to final approvals and delivery.
You will work closely with designers, account managers, and production partners. You will be expected to manage multiple jobs at once, keep files and versions organised, respond quickly to feedback, and ensure artwork is technically correct for the final output, whether that is online publishing or print production.
Key responsibilities- Motion graphics and video: You will create and edit short-form motion graphics and videos for social media, websites, presentations, and marketing campaigns, including reels, stories, animated posts, short promos, and simple video ads. You will support basic editing tasks such as trimming, sequencing, captioning, resizing for different formats, and exporting in the correct specifications. You will apply brand assets, typography, and basic animation principles to create clean, engaging content that is on-brand and fit for platform.
- Print artwork production: You will prepare print-ready artwork for flyers, posters, signage, packaging, brochures, and other marketing materials. You will set up files correctly for print production, including dimensions, bleed, crop marks, CMYK colour setup where required, image resolution, and correct export settings. You will check artwork before production, ensuring accuracy in spelling, alignment, brand elements, and technical print requirements.
- Artwork management and coordination: You will manage artwork revisions and feedback between internal teams and clients, ensuring changes are captured, applied accurately, and tracked through to sign-off. You will liaise with print suppliers and production partners to confirm specifications, request and review proofs, and ensure artwork is approved and ready to go to print.
- File organisation and brand consistency: You will organise and maintain artwork files so they are clearly named, versioned, and easy to find, following internal folder structures and best practice. You will help ensure all visuals follow brand guidelines and look consistent across digital and print, flagging issues where the brief or existing assets do not align with brand standards.
- Quality control: You will complete final checks before delivery or production, including layout accuracy, spelling, correct dimensions, image quality, and export settings. You will ensure all deliverables meet the required technical specifications, including correct formats, codecs, aspect ratios, and file sizes where relevant.
- Basic to intermediate experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Confidence producing simple motion graphics and editing short videos for social media and marketing.
- Working understanding of print-ready artwork and production basics, including sizes, bleed, colour spaces (RGB/CMYK), image resolution, and file formats.
- Comfortable exporting for different outputs, such as MP4 for social, PDFs for print, and optimised assets for web and email.
- Able to work quickly and accurately in a busy environment, managing several tasks and deadlines at once.
- Good attention to detail, particularly when checking artwork before it goes live or to print.
- Clear written and spoken communication, particularly when coordinating with clients and suppliers.
- Experience creating content specifically for Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube formats.
- Basic understanding of brand systems and using templates to maintain consistency.
- Experience working with print suppliers, proofs, and production timelines.
- Familiarity with basic animation principles, typography, and layout for digital advertising.
- Understanding of common video export settings, compression, and file optimisation.
- You deliver accurate, on-brand assets quickly, with minimal rework.
- You keep projects organised and easy to track through clear naming and versioning.
- You communicate clearly and help the team hit deadlines by keeping approvals and production steps moving.
- You steadily improve speed, craft, and confidence across motion design, digital production, and print artwork.
This role suits someone at junior or early-career level who wants to develop practical skills across motion design, digital content, and print production. You enjoy making things, you are naturally organised, and you take pride in getting the details right. You are comfortable in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change and deadlines matter.
