Salary: £24,043 per annum
Location: Hybrid working from our Dearne Valley (Rotherham) site – 2 days in the office and 3 days at home.
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-Time – 37.5 hours per week
Shift pattern: Working shifts between the hours of 7am - 11pm Monday to Friday and 7am to 10:30pm Saturday & Sunday, including Bank Holidays.
Training: 4 weeks training – Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm, on site.
Start date: Wednesday, 11th Feb 2026.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting inbound calls.
- Taking ownership of each call, delivering a service that makes Southern Water customers feel valued and supported.
- Handling calls from customers regarding high priority/emergency enquiries such as no water, pressure drops, discoloured water or flooding.
- Providing empathy and remaining calm under pressure for vulnerable or distressed customers.
- Creating a positive experience for both customer and client.
