As a member of the property Human Resources support staff and reporting directly to the General Manager, you’ll work with Human Resources employees to carry out the daily activities of the Human Resource Office including oversight of recruitment, total compensation, and training and development. Additionally, you’ll focus on delivering HR services that meet or exceed the needs of employees and enable business success; you will also ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and operating procedures.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives.
  • Oversee all aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and employee relations.
  • Lead and mentor the HR team to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Collaborate with senior management to provide HR guidance and support on key business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall workplace culture.
  • Develop HR and manpower budgets, forecast workforce needs, and control departmental costs effectively.
  • Design competitive benefits programs and implement compliant local HR policies supporting organizational objectives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience within HR at management level in a similar sized hotel and CIPD qualified (Lev 5 and above).
  • Ability to communicate confidently and influence at all levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, PowerBI.
  • Advanced skill in HRIS, Payroll and systems management.
  • High level of written correspondence and attention to detail.
  • Ability to provide high quality support at all times in a calm manner.
  • Ability to multi‑task and prioritise effectively.
  • Confidence preparing and delivering presentations to key stakeholders (Senior Management, Clients, Universities).
