Part Time Public Area Cleaner – 16 hours per week. Evening shift from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between Housekeeping, guests and other departments to ensure a positive hotel experience for public areas.
  • Provide a visible floor presence to anticipate, understand and act on housekeeping associates' needs and to respond to guest requests on the floor.
  • Assist the Executive Housekeeper with day‑to‑day operations of the housekeeping departments.
  • Maintain public areas to brand standard.
  • Maintain an immaculate hotel environment.
  • Contribute to a seamless guest experience through attention to detail.
  • Work collaboratively with Housekeeping and other hotel teams to keep standards consistent throughout the day.
  • Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are organised and ready for use.
  • Report and follow up on maintenance or damage issues promptly.
  • Respond efficiently to guest requests and operational needs.
  • Adhere to lost property, safety and environmental procedures.
  • Answer phone and deal with general housekeeping enquiries.

Requirements

  • Candidate should project a pleasant and positive professional image at all times.
  • Experience within a Housekeeping department in a 5‑star environment is required.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team, and a strong desire to improve skills and knowledge are essential.
