We are hiring for a Conference and Banqueting Associate based at The Sheraton Grand London Park Lane Hotel.

Our jobs aren't just about serving guests during a banquet or event. Instead, we want to build an experience that is memorable and unique. Our Event Service Expert is skilled in a wide range of event functions with responsibility for making sure the event is well-executed from start to finish.
Guest Relations:- Welcome and acknowledge each and every guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting.
- Address guests' service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner.
- Actively listen and respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests.
- Engage guests in conversation regarding their stay, property services, and area attractions/offerings.
- Follow appropriate procedures for serving alcohol.
- Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
- Set tables according to type of event and service standards.
- Prepare coffee breaks, carts, and stations with appropriate food and beverages.
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot audio-visual (AV), projection, lighting, and conferencing equipment.
- Bus tables by removing and separating tableware, plate ware, glassware, and flatware.
- Monitor tableware to ensure it is presentable to guests.
- Respond to and try to fulfil any special banquet event arrangements requested by guest.
- Replenish buffet items to ensure consistency and freshness in presentation.
- Follow all state and local laws for serving alcohol responsibly.
- Prepare drink orders for guests according to specified recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and condition of bar and other tools.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned tables and work areas.
