We are currently recruiting for a Banqueting Supervisor in our C&B team to assist with events here at The Sheraton Grand Hotel and Spa, Edinburgh
The Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa is ideally located in the heart of Edinburgh's financial and tourist area and is one of Scotland's leading 5 star hotels. As the largest 5 star hotel in the city with 269 bedrooms, we also have the largest hotel banqueting and meeting space with a capacity of up to 500 guests.
The Role:
- Working with the management team to ensure the successful daily operation of the department.
- Delivering conferences and banquets ranging from 2 to 500 attendees
- Organising and directing shift staff.
- Communicating with guests, team members and other departments to ensure clients' needs are anticipated and expectations exceeded.
- Handling any issues or complaints.
- Responsibly managing daily financials and reporting.
Who you are:
The successful candidate for this position will have a strong food & beverage background and an ability to work both independently or as part of a larger team. Experience in banqueting is preferred but not mandatory.
