We are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our Storyboard team at Holiday Inn London Shepperton. In this role, you'll support the growth of our events and meetings business by generating new leads, building client relationships, and contributing to revenue growth.

In this exciting and visible role, you'll support the proactive sales effort by identifying opportunities, engaging with clients, and promoting our Storyboard offering. You'll work closely with the on-property sales and events team to help deliver commercial success. This is a hotel-based role, but one that also involves being out and about meeting clients, attending events, and helping generate new business opportunities. You'll need to be confident, personable, and eager to learn, with a genuine passion for sales and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the promotion and sale of the Storyboard Meetings & Events product to corporate and agency clients
  • Assist in generating new business across weddings, celebrations, and corporate events
  • Help host site visits and client tours, showcasing the venue and its potential
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with new and existing clients
  • Support the team in achieving sales targets and contributing to revenue growth
  • Work collaboratively with the reactive sales and operations teams to deliver successful events
  • Attend networking events and industry activities to support lead generation
