The company operates in three manufacturing facilities in West Yorkshire and owns several high-speed production lines with the capabilities of producing both still and sparkling water, servicing leading retailers such as Morrisons, Lidl, Booker Tesco and Sainsbury through private labels, and produces the brands Ice Valley and White Rock exclusively.
Following a period of impressive growth, the business is looking to strengthen its production offering to support further expansion and development plans, and are seeking further Injection Technicians to join the team.
Summary:The Injection Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining injection moulding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts. They will be tasked with setting up moulds, monitoring the injection process, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring production goals are met while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Job Specification:- Set up injection moulding machines by installing moulds, adjusting machine settings, and configuring parameters for optimal production.
- Operate injection moulding machines to produce plastic parts according to production schedules and quality standards.
- Monitor the injection process, including temperature, pressure, and cycle times, to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Trim, deburr, and assemble plastic parts as needed.
- Keep accurate records of production output, downtime, and maintenance activities.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and other team members to coordinate production activities and resolve issues.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
