The company operates in two manufacturing facilities in West Yorkshire and owns several high-speed production lines with the capabilities of producing both still and sparkling water servicing leading retailers such as Morrisons, Lidl, Booker Tesco and Sainsbury through private label and produces the brands Ice Valley® and White Rock® exclusively. Following a period of impressive growth, the business are looking to strengthen their Production offering to support further expansion and development plans and seeking an FLT Operative to join their already established team.
Summary: We are seeking a skilled Forklift Truck Driver to operate industrial forklifts in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading, unloading, moving, and stacking materials within the warehouse or production area. Attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.
Job Specification:
- Safely operate forklift trucks to move materials throughout the warehouse or production area.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, shelves, or storage areas using forklifts or other equipment.
- Transport materials to designated locations within the facility.
- Stack and store materials in designated areas, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work area.
- Assist with inventory control by keeping accurate records of materials moved.
- Collaborate with other warehouse or production team members to ensure efficient workflow.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a forklift truck driver or operator.
