We have a strong clinical team currently of 4 day vets and 1 night vet, 5 RVNs, 2 SVNs and 3 VCAs, with a range of experience between 6 and 30 years, and a brilliant admin/reception team who keep everything running smoothly. Everyone is really supportive and we always try to help each other. The practice is very much part of the community.
We are proud to be one of the first UK practices to achieve dog-friendly status from the Dogs Trust/BVBA Dog-Friendly Clinic scheme, having already been a fear-free accredited practice. Our purpose-built premises and facilities enable us to provide a high standard of care, with separate dog and cat wards, 4 consulting rooms, digital x-ray including dental x-ray, high-quality ultrasound with Doppler, in-house lab, endoscope, optic loop, Tonovet pen, cautery, and laser therapy.
We are looking for a small animal vet with experience to join our team. Our vets work a 4-day week (2x 9-7 and 2x 9-5) and a 1:4 share of the Saturday morning consults between 9 am -12.30 pm. We are also delighted to consider other part-time work to suit you too. However, if you are interested in emergency care, we would be happy to discuss you joining the OOHs rota if this is something you would like.
Our days are structured so two vets are consulting, one vet is operating, and one vet looks after medical cases and inpatients and helps with the ops or in prep room as needed. Everybody has designated operating days at least once or twice a week, and time is built in for the more complex cases where you might want a second pair of hands scrubbed in.

- Employee discount
- On-site parking
