Shepherds Estate Agent is an independent, family-run estate agency based in Hoddesdon and Cheshunt High Streets, in Hertfordshire. The company covers a wide area across the Borough of Broxbourne and beyond, including Enfield, Ware, Roydon, Stansted Abbots, Cheshunt, Goffs Oak, Waltham Cross, Waltham Abbey, Broxbourne, and surrounding villages.

Role Description

This full-time, on-site Experienced Sales Negotiator role is based at Shepherds Estate Agent’s Hoddesdon office. The role involves managing residential property sales from initial enquiry through to completion, including conducting market appraisals, arranging and carrying out viewings, and providing informed advice to sellers and buyers. The Experienced Sales Negotiator will handle offers, negotiate terms, progress sales, and liaise with solicitors, surveyors, and other stakeholders to help ensure smooth transactions. The role also includes maintaining accurate records on internal systems, producing high-quality property listings, and contributing to marketing activities to promote available properties. The successful candidate will work closely with the wider team, providing exceptional customer service and representing the Shepherds and Fine & Country brands professionally in the local marketplace.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in estate agency, with experience in residential property sales and familiarity with lettings processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, including clear verbal and written abilities and confident face-to-face interaction.
