Are you a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager? We are looking for someone to drive business growth by identifying new opportunities and expand our clients' customer base in the North of the UK.
The client who certifies construction products and systems is looking for someone who has experience in the construction product or services market, and a strong track record in B2B sales.
You will be responsible for developing sales in your territory, managing several client accounts.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Identifying potential clients (mainly construction product and system manufacturers) needing product certification.
- Developing sales strategies to attract new clients.
- Building relationships with key decision-makers in target organisations and industries, including re-building relationships with dormant organisations.
- Managing the sales cycle from pipeline and lead generation to conversion of deals.
- Maintaining relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
- Negotiating contracts and pricing with clients.
- Staying updated on regulatory changes affecting certification and market trends in product manufacturing.
- Coordinating with technical teams to ensure accurate certification proposals.
- Tracking sales performance and preparing reports for senior management where required.
- Attending regular sales pipeline meetings.
- Analysing client feedback and market trends to improve sales strategies.
- Using Dynamics 365 CRM to record traction in pipeline and sales activity.
- Promoting and adhering to policies and actively promoting the Business wherever possible.
- Responsible for your own Health and Safety and that of your colleagues and others.
