Are you an experienced Financial Services Administrator looking for your next opportunity? Do you already have experience working within Pensions, Investments or an IFA environment and have a good understanding of products such as SIPPs, ISAs, bonds and personal pensions? If so, this could be an excellent opportunity to join an established financial services business in St Neots, supporting a team of Independent Financial Advisers and helping deliver a first-class service to a substantial client base.
IMPORTANT β DO YOU HAVE THE RIGHT EXPERIENCE?
- Previous administration experience within Financial Services or an IFA environment
- A good working knowledge of financial products, particularly SIPPs, ISAs, bonds and personal pensions
- Strong numerical skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Experience using financial services CRM systems such as Intelligent Office, Adviser Office or Iress, together with financial platform/provider portals
- Excellent telephone and written communication skills

The Role
As a Pensions & Investments Administrator, you'll provide essential administrative support to the company's Independent Financial Advisers, helping ensure clients receive a professional, efficient and responsive service. You'll be involved in the administration of private pensions, workplace pensions and investment portfolios, managing cases from initial application through to completion and liaising with clients, providers, investment managers and platforms along the way. You'll be joining a professional team where accuracy, organisation and attention to detail really matter.
What You'll Be Doing
- New Business & Case Processing
- Process new pension and investment applications accurately and efficiently
- Submit new business through a range of financial provider platforms
- Track cases from application through to completion
- Request and chase Letters of Authority (LoAs) from third-party providers
- Client & Provider Liaison
- Act as a key point of contact for client administration queries
- Handle incoming calls and emails professionally and confidently
- Liaise directly with investment managers and insurance platforms
- Obtain accurate valuations and transfer information
- Compliance & Administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic client records
- Ensure client files meet FCA regulatory requirements
- Collate documentation required for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks
- Prepare client files and data packs ahead of adviser review meetings

We're looking for someone who is organised, commercially aware and comfortable working with financial information. You'll need to be confident dealing with clients and financial providers, able to manage your own workload and, above all, have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
