Our well-established client is currently seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join their team. This is a hands-on and diverse role involving the manufacture of various food processing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program, set, and operate CNC machining centres using Heidenhain
  • Work primarily with stainless steel materials.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Use appropriate measuring tools and inspection equipment.
  • Understand and work within specified tolerances, performing self-checks on completed work.
  • Collaborate with the shop floor team to ensure smooth workflow and support activities relating to Health & Safety, Production, Inspection, and Discipline.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with CNC Milling and Heidenhain controls.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and production standards.
  • City & Guilds qualifications or an Apprenticeship in Engineering would be advantageous.

Working Hours:

  • 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Morning break: 10:00am – 10:10am
  • Lunch break: 1:00pm – 1:30pm

A reasonable amount of overtime is expected to meet production requirements.
