A business-critical role has arisen for an International Client Account Manager to join a leading manufacturer in Sandy, Bedfordshire who supply machines globally. This is a full-time permanent office-based role with international travel, trade and networking events to attend, client hosting and serious account management.
The company has been trading for over 40 years and has become a market leader in its field. A mid-sized firm in terms of staff but huge in its sector, they have a wealth of experience supplying equipment to over 40 countries worldwide including Europe, USA & Asia, and currently export over 90% of their products. They also provide amazing after sales service covering training, ongoing information and support.
As International Client Account Manager, you will focus on driving business growth by developing new and existing customers. Alongside developing new business from existing customers, you will build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understand their needs, and present tailored solutions. This involves market research, lead generation, and networking. You will collaborate with international technical teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
The main purpose of the role is to build strong client relationships and hit/exceed annual sales targets. Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for selling the company's equipment via distribution networks and end users. As a result, the role will require significant travel, networking and client account management.
- Manage existing distributors
- Visit key accounts and existing users
- Visit prospective customers
- Retain and grow existing business and qualify new prospects

- Collaborate with marketing to develop new content, events and webinars
The ideal candidate will be a highly energetic, proactive and motivated sales professional with manufacturing international sales experience (ideal but not essential), experience managing a distributor network, and the ability to convey complex technical topics verbally and on paper.
