Overview

Shepherd Neame is on the lookout for seasonal Christmas Bar Team Members to join us part time until late December/early January 2025, so if you are available to start work immediately, you love hospitality and you are a people person; this may be just the job for you.

Please note that subject to our opening hours you may will be required to work some of the following shifts to include Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

About the venue

Guildford’s longest-running live music venue, the Star Inn brings together beautiful beer and brilliant bands for one of the best pub experiences in town. The 16th century pub has been entertaining the locals for more than 400 years - showcasing some excellent acts including the Stranglers, who performed their first ever gig here. With a real fire, an intimate courtyard garden and three floors full of snug and cosy corners, this is one of the best pubs in Guildford.

Requirements

If you haven’t got any previous hospitality experience please do not worry, so long as that you are over 18 years old and you possess some of the qualities outlined below, we can train you and teach you everything else that you will need to know.
