As a Night Porter, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of our guests during the night. You’ll be the point of contact for late arrivals and early departures, while keeping the property secure and presentable. Located next to the River Stour in the heart of the beautiful medieval town of Sandwich, Kent, the Bell Hotel has been welcoming guests to the town since Tudor times. Having undergone extensive refurbishment in recent years, the historic riverside retreat offers guests a luxurious experience with 21st-century comforts. Sandwich is also a magnet for golfers, with Royal St George’s and Prince’s golf clubs on its doorstep.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome and assist guests during late check-ins and early check-outs.
- Monitor the premises to ensure safety and security throughout the night.
- Handle guest queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks to maintain high standards.
- Prepare areas for the next day’s service and assist with early breakfast set-up.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
