- Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week. 08:30 - 17:00, Monday to Friday with 1 hour lunch (unpaid).
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and formatting menu templates for food, drink and functions across our Managed Pubs estate, coordinating the internal approval process
- Support the planning, scheduling and maintenance of all menu cycles
- Coordinate food team orders and processing of invoices for food tastings and cook-offs
- Support the onboarding of new food suppliers and ensure all relevant data is accurately recorded in our food development systems, including Starchef & Tenkites
- Maintain up-to-date supplier records and assist with the preparation and tracking of compliance documentation
- Build and maintain effective, honest relationships with internal team members and external partners to support smooth collaboration
- Ensure clear, timely communication across departments, including Retail, Chefs and General Managers to support operational efficiency
- Share the latest recipes and allergen information with Chefs and General Managers
- Coordinate training sessions and ensure all team members have access to current food safety, allergen and recipe documentation
- Provide full administrative support to the Food Team, including meeting scheduling and document management
- Draft and distribute a weekly newsletter by collecting key updates and data from the Food Team, ensuring relevant and timely information is shared with all pubs
- Undertake any additional tasks and responsibilities as directed to support pub food operations
The ideal candidate:
- Excellent IT skills, proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite, InDesign & Adobe Creative Suite
- Enthusiasm and a flair for creativity, paired with a passion for design, data integrity and accurate end-user capture
- Understanding of recipe creation & food allergens is preferred but not essential
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to deliver great customer service skills • Strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- A collaborative team player that will support their colleagues
- Experience of SAP is desirable, not essential
- Proficient in Star Chef Ten Kites, mail chimp, menu development and design is desirable
