Shepherd Neame is looking for a part time Chef to join our kitchen team. If you are a new or aspiring chef looking for a fresh challenge and to carve out your career in the kitchen, this may be just the job for you.
Situated in the heart of the picturesque town of Cranbrook, Kent, the George Hotel is perfectly positioned to enjoy the outstanding local beauty of the surrounding Weald countryside. Dating back to 1300, it is one of Cranbrook’s most historic buildings having hosted Queen Elizabeth I in 1573. It boasts 12 stunning, individually-designed rooms, combining period features with elegant, modern décor.
We know that excellent chefs are the key ingredient to a successful kitchen, so this role will see you working as part of our friendly and supportive kitchen team to deliver a great dining experience to our customers.
Previous catering experience would be beneficial; however, if you don’t have experience, as long as you love food, are confident, motivated and a great team player, we can train you and teach you everything else you will need to know.
