Shepherd Neame is seeking a part-time Chef to join our kitchen team. If you are a new or aspiring chef looking for a fresh challenge and to develop your career in the kitchen, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

The Old Mill in Kennington, Ashford, is a cozy country pub situated on Canterbury Road, overlooking Dukes Spring, a tributary of the Great Stour River. This Grade II listed building dates back to the early 19th century and is named after the nearby Kennington Mill, of which little remains today. It was previously known as the Golden Ball.

We believe that excellent chefs are essential to a successful kitchen. In this role, you will work as part of our friendly and supportive team to deliver a great dining experience to our customers.

Previous catering experience is beneficial but not required. If you love food, are confident, motivated, and a great team player, we can provide training and teach you everything else you need to know.

We are an independent family business with an award-winning visitor centre and over 300 pubs and hotels across London and the South East, from the historic City to the Kent coast.
