Shepherd Neame is looking for a part time Chef to join our kitchen team. If you are a new or aspiring chef seeking a fresh challenge and to carve out your career in the kitchen, this may be the role for you.

The Bellhouse is a busy Pub & Restaurant located in Rayleigh Road, Leigh-on-Sea. Whether you’re joining us for dinner or drinks, you can enjoy the surrounding scenic garden and woodland area, or our venue is the ideal location for special occasions and impromptu gatherings, all year round.

We know that excellent chefs are the key ingredient to a successful kitchen, so this role will see you working as part of our friendly and supportive kitchen team to deliver a great dining experience to our customers.

Previous catering experience would be beneficial; however, if you don’t have experience, as long as you love food, are confident, motivated and a great team player, we can train you and teach you everything else you will need to know.

Responsibilities
  • Work as part of the kitchen team to deliver a great dining experience to customers.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative kitchen environment and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
Qualifications
  • Previous catering experience would be beneficial, but not required.
  • Love of food, confidence, motivation and strong team player.
  • Willingness to learn and train in required skills.
