Where You’ll Be Working

Overlooking the village square in Lenham, Kent, the Dog and Bear Hotel combines the friendly atmosphere of a local pub with all the comforts of a contemporary hotel and restaurant. It embraces that unique heritage, retaining historic character features such as oak beams, and traditional décor and houses 24 en-suite bedrooms.

What You’ll Do

  • Wash and maintain kitchen equipment, crockery, and utensils to the highest standards.
  • Keep kitchen areas clean, tidy, and compliant with hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required.
  • Manage waste disposal and recycling responsibly.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
