If you enjoy hospitality but prefer working behind the scenes supporting your colleagues and contributing to the team\’s overall success, then this may be just the job for you.

Perched at the top of Tankerton Slopes, the Royal serves fresh food and drink with amazing panoramic sea views. The pub’s garden offers one of the best vantage points in the area, boasting a magnificent clifftop setting with views across the Thames Estuary. The restaurant is renowned for delicious British dishes, with a variety of daily specials made from local ingredients.

We know that great Kitchen Porters are key to a successful kitchen. This role involves working as part of our friendly and supportive team to ensure a great and efficient dining experience for our customers.

If you have no previous experience, don’t worry. As long as you are confident, committed, and a great team player, we can train you and teach you everything you need to know.

Britain’s oldest brewer, Shepherd Neame, has been based in Faversham, Kent for over 300 years. As an independent family business, we operate over 300 pubs and hotels across London and the South East, from the City to the Kent coast. We employ around 1,500 team members across our pub estate and more than 270 at our brewery and support office.
