Bar Team Member – Join Britain’s Oldest Brewer!
At Shepherd Neame, we know that first impressions count. As a Bar Team Member, you’ll play a vital role in creating memorable experiences – greeting every guest with a warm welcome and delivering great service at every opportunity.
No experience? No problem! If you have the right attitude, we’ll give you all the training you need. Bring your enthusiasm and people skills – we’ll teach you the rest.
Where You’ll Be Working
The Market House is located in the heart of Maidstone, Kent’s County Town, opposite the Hazlitt Theatre and next to Fremlin Walk shopping precinct. The historic pub boasts a large roof top terrace overlooking Fremlin Walk, and covered alfresco drinking and dining area to the front of the building and it renowned locally for its live music every weekend.

- Welcome every guest with warmth and genuine hospitality.
- Create a positive atmosphere by engaging with customers and anticipating their needs.
- Serve drinks and food promptly and professionally.
- Keep the bar area clean, tidy, and well-stocked throughout your shift.
- Work as part of a supportive team to deliver exceptional experiences.
- Uphold our standards and contribute to the pub’s success.
