Team Leader – Lead with Britain’s Oldest Brewer!
At Shepherd Neame, we know that first impressions count. As a Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in supporting the General Manager and leading the bar team to deliver outstanding hospitality. You’ll set the tone for great service, motivate your team, and ensure every guest leaves with a smile.

Where You’ll Be Working
Located in London’s Moorgate, the Old Doctor Butler’s Head is a traditional pub dating back more than 400 years. A short stroll from the Guildhall, it is a popular spot with City workers and its first floor function room is a constantly busy with events and meetings in the area.
What You’ll Do
- Lead by example, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests and team members.
- Support the General Manager in day-to-day operations, including opening and closing duties.
- Motivate and coach the team to deliver exceptional service and uphold company standards.
- Ensure the bar is well-stocked, clean, and compliant with health and safety requirements.
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Contribute ideas to improve service and team performance.
