Employment Details
- Part time, 21 hours per week
- Fixed Term Contract – 12 months until 31 March 2027
- Grade FL, Salary £21,300 per annum (FTE £35,500)
- Location: London (Hybrid working – minimum 1 day per week in the office)

Role Summary
The Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) is excited to be recruiting for an Email Marketing Officer to support the promotion of a wide variety of events, learning resources, membership support tools and initiatives, and more, to help drive member awareness, engagement and increase membership retention. The Email Marketing Officer plays a crucial role in delivering our member‑focused email communications for a wide variety of member products, resources, services and events. Email is our number one communication channel, and this role ensures that key messages and promotions are communicated to members in an impactful way that strengthens member engagement, retention and acquisition by clearly communicating the Membership Value Proposition (MVP).
As Email Marketing Officer, you will join the College at a time when member acquisition and engagement has never been more crucial. As part of a marketing team of seven, you will build, test, and deploy email marketing campaigns that drive engagement and reinforce the value of College membership to our audiences. Through a test‑and‑learn approach, you will provide insight into email performance for an optimised approach to future campaigns and messaging.

- Proficiency in using email marketing platforms such as Dotdigital.
