With a dedicated team of over 50 professionals across 3 offices – Cleckheaton, Leeds and Harrow – we pride ourselves on supporting a vast range of businesses and individuals – including sports personalities and high-net-worth individuals – helping them navigate complex financial challenges, remain compliant, and drive growth.
Summary
We are seeking a personal tax senior who is competent in preparing SA100 personal tax returns, partnership returns, and trust returns, who can be the go-to for our tax clients.
Working in public practice within an accounting firm means the role will involve direct liaison with our valued clients, with lots of daily interactions, and the aim of building a strong rapport. So, you will ideally have both excellent technical and communication skills.
Because of the nature of the role, we are looking for an individual who has worked in a similar role and is qualified to a standard that the role requires.
The way in which our firm is structured means there is plenty of room for professional development and growth, so this is a great opportunity for someone looking to progress within the same firm.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert tax advice to clients on various tax matters.
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals.
- Analyze financial information to identify tax-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation affecting clients\’ interests.
- Collaborate with other professionals within the firm to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Qualifications
- Min of two years experience as a Tax Advisor or similar role in an accounting firm
- ATT qualified or ACCA/CTA part qualified – will consider qualified by experience within a directly related role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software; CCH is advantageous.
- Good computer knowledge, including familiarity with Microsoft Office/Teams and other apps.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
