We’ve been around for over 30 years, and whilst we have a global client base and two offices in West Yorkshire, we remain humble and ensure that our culture is one where our team come first and feel valued.
In this role, you will be working with a varied client base and across a range of exciting sectors as well as supporting some of our graduates and apprentices with their progress. We’d like you to have a passion for working within a multidisciplinary practice, to be driven and forward thinking, to be meticulous and accurate but most of all, genuinely enjoy the process of accountancy work.
Criteria:
- Ideally, you will be fully or part qualified (ACA, CA, ACCA or equivalent)
- You’ll have a general practice background with good technical skills in the areas of accounts preparation and taxation.
- Audit experience is desirable but not essential.
We will also consider applications from strongly qualified by experience (QBE) candidates. Any level of Part-Qualification can be considered with potential study support offered.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Preparing year end accounts for both limited companies, LLPs, partnerships and sole traders (mainly limited companies).
- Preparing personal and corporation tax computations and returns .
- Assisting the Partners or Senior managers with ad hoc project work for clients.
- Liaising with clients over their accounts and queries .
You’d be reporting on each assignment directly to a partner or senior manager and we have a team of accounts employees available to assist on assignments. Wherever possible we encourage the delegation of work to provide valuable practical training.
