Shenton Group is on the lookout for a motivated and talented CHP Maintenance Engineer to join our team.
What's the role?
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be required to provide and deliver a consistently high technical and professional level of service to our customers while acting as an ambassador of the Shenton Group brand. You will need a focus on quality with strong attention to detail and an enthusiastic attitude to achieve the customer's full requirements.
You will travel around the UK in your company provided vehicle carrying out a mixture of scheduled service work and reactive work which may involve overnight stays, so a flexible approach to working patterns is required. This role is a fantastic balance of working independently with the backup of a strong support team in the office to enable you to fulfil your role. You will be part of our wider technical support team that supports both internal colleagues and external customers with a can-do approach.
What do you need?
You need to have a keen attitude and take a positive proactive approach to engaging with your role and your colleagues. You need to be able to collaborate and take responsibility for tasks including seeking opportunities to improve. You need to have a solid mechanical background of working with generators, specifically CHPs, and relevant qualifications to support this.
Strong practical knowledge of LTHW hot water systems, including practical experience of pumps, inverter drives, flow rates, delta T, boiler operations, and associated BMS controls is also required as is strong practical electrical engineering knowledge of LV power generation and distribution systems. Being MWM trained and having a good knowledge of control system software is also required.

We offer a competitive salary of £36,000 to £45,000 dependent on experience and giving you opportunity to grow. We'll provide you with a company VW Transporter (or similar), uniform, a laptop and company card to enable you with your role.
