Shenton Group is on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Technical Engineer to join our Maintenance team!
As a Senior Technical Engineer within Shenton Group’s Maintenance Team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality technical support to our customers and internal teams. Acting as a brand ambassador, you’ll uphold our standards of professionalism and service excellence across both office and site environments.
This dynamic role offers a blend of hands-on engineering and collaborative support. You’ll work closely with engineers and coordinators to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and support training and development across the team. With a strong focus on quality, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, you’ll help drive performance, maintain compliance, and support the wider goals of the Maintenance Team and Shenton Group.
You need to have a keen attitude and take a positive curious approach to engaging with your role and your colleagues. Your communication skills should be well-rounded and you should be supportive in training and sharing knowledge.
You should have at least 3 years experience in a working engineering environment, or a similar field, and have a strong knowledge of the generator industry. Excellent electrical and mechanical knowledge is essential, as is a solid knowledge of software based control systems such as Comap, SDMO and Deep Sea.

We offer a competitive salary of £50,000 to £62,000 dependent on experience and giving you opportunity to grow. Benefits include, but are definitely not limited to, an enhanced pension scheme, being part of a company bonus scheme and an overnight allowance. We’ll provide you with a £7000/pa vehicle allowance, uniform, a laptop and company card to enable you with your role. You’ll also receive 25 days leave which grows with length of service, a cashplan health benefit and many other perks and allowances.
