Are you looking to make a difference to the life chances of students that struggle with their social, emotional and mental health (SEMH)? Do you want to work in a dynamic, forward‑thinking school? Shenstone Lodge School is a successful split site school for pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, located on the outskirts of Shenstone village, educating and supporting KS1 and KS2 students. The school joined The Manor Hall Academy Trust on 1st July 2020.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the educational, behavioural, and pastoral needs of Primary age students.
  • Manage students who exhibit behaviours that challenge, both proactively and reactively.
  • Deescalate volatile and violent situations to maximise student engagement in learning.
  • Work collaboratively with staff while exercising initiative to support students with social, emotional and mental health needs.

Qualifications:

  • Calm under pressure, resilient, and confident.
  • Curriculum aware with experience managing and supporting primary students.
  • Ability to work as a team player and use initiative effectively.
