Location: London EC1

Salary: £28,800 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday 9:30am to 5:30pm.

Our client was established over 25 years ago as a leading research support to law firms worldwide. They are looking for someone, ideally with a History Degree to join their award-winning team based in the Hoxton area of London as a Junior Probate Leads Analyst. Training will be in the office but after that you will be able to work hybrid, attending the office at least 2 days a week but otherwise based at home.

The role is 80% research based, and you will be responsible for assisting the Leads Analysts to monitor and source new leads within the Public Domain department in order to identify new active probate cases for the team to work on.

Duties for Junior Probate Leads Analyst:

  • Assist the Probate Analyst/Senior Probate Analyst with monitoring & analysing all new leads, to include:
  • Email enquiries from the public.
  • Forms.
  • Manual searches for potential new matters.
  • Monitoring online resources.
  • Third party referrals.
  • Ensuring all lead generating software is up to date.
  • Valuing new cases as directed by a Probate Analyst/Senior Probate Analyst.
  • Logging all new cases on the inhouse management system as soon as they arrive as directed by a Probate Analyst/Senior Probate Analyst.
  • Limited administration duties, to include:
    • Obtaining and verifying ID documents.
    • Compiling urgent interim reports for Analyst(s) where required.
    • Drafting agreements/beneficiary follow-up for Analyst(s) where required.
  • Assisting with limited research as required by Analyst(s), to include:
    • Background investigations.
    • Verifying family trees with beneficiaries.
  • Ensuring the inhouse management system is kept up to date at all times & documented clearly.
  • Attendance on various training days, as and when required or deemed necessary.
  • Advanced level of open communication within the PD Team, including support staff, with transparency at all times.
  • Willingness to offer flexibility with working patterns (contracted hours, lunch break, workload, contact with heirs in different time zones, etc).
  • Skills Required for Junior Probate Leads Analyst:

    • History Degree ideally or experience in a similar role.
    • An interest in genealogy a plus.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident dealing with complex personal situations by phone.
    • Ability to cope under pressure, work on own initiative and organise own workload.
    • Problem solving skills and the ability to respond to sudden unexpected demands.
    • Strong MS Office skills.
    • Good attention to detail.
