We're looking for a creative and culturally switched-on Social Media Manager / Content Creator to join our growing UK-based marketing team. You'll own Shemed's presence across Instagram, TikTok and emerging channels, creating original content, building community and driving awareness of our women-focused weight loss injection programme. This is a hands-on role for someone who is equally comfortable filming and editing short-form video as they are planning a monthly content calendar and analysing performance.

Please note: This role will be office based, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. We are based in Euston, London.

What You Will Work On
  • Own and manage Shemed's day-to-day social presence across Instagram and TikTok.
  • Plan, shoot, edit and publish original short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Stories) that reflects Shemed's brand and resonates with our target audience.
  • Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar aligned with campaign moments, study launches, product updates and seasonal opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Head of Brand and Head of Digital Marketing to ensure content is on-brand, compliant with ASA / CAP code and MHRA guidelines, and commercially focused.
  • Build and engage Shemed's online community, responding to public comments, DMs and mentions in a tone that reflects our values.
  • Collaborate with the influencer and affiliate team to support creator partnerships, briefings and content amplification.
  • Monitor social performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth, saves, link clicks) and deliver regular reporting with actionable insights.
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, audio trends and cultural moments relevant to women's health and weight loss.
  • Support paid social creative by producing organic-first content that can be tested and scaled on Meta and TikTok Ads.
  • Jump in across other creative projects when needed, this is a collaborative team in a fast-moving startup.
What We're Looking For
  • 1–3 years of experience in social media management and content creation, ideally in a B2C or consumer health environment.
  • A strong portfolio or profile showcasing original short-form video content and social-first creative.
  • Confident on camera and behind the camera, comfortable filming, directing and appearing in content as needed.
  • Proficiency in video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar) and ideally graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Express, or similar).
  • Deep native understanding of Instagram and TikTok, you know what performs and why.
  • Strong copywriting skills with an ability to adapt tone across formats, from educational carousels to conversational Reels.
  • Data-literate, comfortable pulling platform analytics and using them to inform content decisions.
  • Awareness of advertising regulations in health and wellness (ASA, CAP code) is a bonus; willingness to learn is essential.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage a content calendar, juggle multiple workstreams and hit publish deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset, you work well cross-functionally and contribute beyond your lane when needed.
  • Genuine interest in women's health or mission-driven work is a strong plus.
