They create a framework in which we are able to transform lives. You would be joining ShelterBox at an exciting time of growth, helping us to continue to maximise both our reach and the impact of our work. Our team is full of positive, people focused individuals with a real passion for our cause. Do you have the skills, personality and ambition to help us write our next chapter?
Role Purpose
This is a diverse and dynamic role within ShelterBox’s high-performing Philanthropy & Partnerships Team, working closely with the Corporate Partnerships Manager on a growing corporate partnerships portfolio. You will be integral to delivering exceptional experiences for our corporate partners. The Corporate Partnerships Officer leads on account management, ensuring our partners feel inspired, valued and deeply connected to ShelterBox’s work. You will steward a portfolio of committed partners – from £5,000 to multi-year six-figure strategic relationships – and ensure they receive outstanding service, insight, and opportunities to deepen their impact.
This will involve creating bespoke engagement calendars, crafting compelling stories and producing impactful visual collateral (from toolkits to presentations and bespoke written materials). Alongside this, you’ll bring to life ShelterBox’s unique corporate training and engagement products, including our immersive experiences, team learning sessions, and new partnership products currently in development. You will help deliver unforgettable moments that showcase our work, strengthen partner engagement, and demonstrate the lifesaving impact of their support.
While the role is primarily focused on stewardship and relationship development, you will also support with new business activity – identifying warm opportunities, conducting research, networking, and working with the Corporate Partnerships Manager to cultivate prospective partners. Ultimately, the success of this role helps ShelterBox reach more people with life-saving shelter after disaster – ensuring our corporate partners play a meaningful role in supporting families who have lost their homes to conflict, disaster or climate crises.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a natural relationship-builder – someone who is proactive, collaborative and energised by working with people. You’ll bring a creative mindset, strong organisational skills, and the confidence to communicate clearly and compellingly, whether you’re crafting a written report or presenting to a room of corporate colleagues. You’ll enjoy working collaboratively across teams and you’ll be comfortable turning complex information into engaging, partner-ready content. You don’t need to have come from a corporate partnerships background, but you will need to show that you can build trust, spot opportunities, and deliver excellent stewardship. If you’re a proactive team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills, curiosity, and a genuine passion for creating impactful partnerships that help more people recover after disaster, we’d love to hear from you.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Deliver high-quality stewardship for a portfolio of corporate partners (from £5,000 to six-figure support), ensuring personalised, timely and inspiring engagement.
- Develop and deliver annual partnership plans, including reporting, impact updates, and bespoke communications.
- Build trusted relationships across partner organisations – from CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) leads to senior decision-makers – supporting retention and uplift.
- Produce high-quality written materials including partnership reports, proposals, case studies, and impact stories.
- Support effective organisation and internal processes, ensuring clear documentation, accurate record keeping, ensuring all partner activity is recorded on our CRM database.
- Lead on the delivery of ShelterBox’s corporate training and engagement offers, including our immersive experiences, team learning sessions and bespoke workshops and presentations.
- Support the development and launch of new corporate products, helping to shape and refine content and delivery.
- Support the Corporate Partnerships Manager with delivering a thriving corporate pipeline, including prospect research, network mapping and initial outreach.
- Represent ShelterBox at conferences, events and meetings to grow our networks and spot opportunities.
- Contribute to emergency fundraising activity following major disasters, adapting to fast-changing priorities and needs.
- Support with the delivery of Philanthropy & Partnerships stewardship and cultivation events.
