About this role
We are looking for a Project Coordinator to develop collaboration and coproduction across services for people experiencing housing or homelessness issues in Norfolk, overseeing Shelter’s participation in the Norfolk Homelessness Solution Forum. The role involves project management for delivering the Forum’s objectives, overseeing the project communications plan, and establishing and leading delivery working groups. The Coordinator will support the Forum’s Lived Experience Coordinator, advise partners on best practice, and ensure co‑production, collaboration and a person‑centred focus remain central to all activities.
About you
Applicants should have experience managing complex projects using a range of project management techniques and influencing system change with an evidence base. Outstanding and adaptable communication skills are required, with experience chairing meetings, delivering presentations, and working in a multi‑disciplinary context with external stakeholders. A deep understanding and empathy for the people most impacted by the housing emergency is essential to motivate partner organisations and champion Shelter and the Forum within Norfolk.

The Norfolk Homelessness Solution Forum aims to bring about system change for homelessness support in Norfolk by ensuring people’s views influence policy and practice. The Forum facilitates best‑practice sharing, identifies service gaps and develops strategies to reduce homelessness and rough sleeping.

Our team provides housing advice to residents in Norfolk, with specialisms in housing legal advice and advocacy. We work from our Community Hub in Norwich and in community settings across Norfolk, partnering with local services to address interconnected issues. We also deliver housing right awareness sessions to empower local communities.
