Do you want to help inspire more people to support Shelter's fight to end the housing emergency? As our Celebrity and Influencer Executive, you'll play an important role in growing Shelter's profile by building and nurturing relationships with celebrities and influencers who share our values.

The Celebrity and Influencer Executive will play a key role in supporting and delivering Shelter’s celebrity and influencer engagement programme, helping to grow brand awareness, reach new audiences, advocacy, and support for our campaigns and fundraising activity.

Role specifics

  • You’ll help deliver Shelter's celebrity and influencer engagement strategy by identifying and building relationships with high-profile supporters who share our values.
  • Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you’ll coordinate celebrity and influencer involvement in campaigns, fundraising, events and social media, while managing day-to-day outreach, maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring activity is well organised, monitored and evaluated.
  • You’ll also contribute ideas to grow our reach and inspire more people to support Shelter's work.

The Celebrity and Influence Executive is part of the Social Media & Storytelling team, which sits within the Communications & Marketing sub directorate. The Social Media Team also includes Shelter’s Stories Team and its Celebrity and Influencer Manager. The team is focused on creating compelling content to bring the housing emergency to light, whether that is through stories told with lived experience, or working with celebrities and influencers to amplify our messages.
