We’re looking for an inspirational people person to join us as an Assistant Shop Manager in our Shelter shop in Beverley. This is an exciting opportunity to help raise vital funds for homeless and badly housed people.
About The Role
You will assist the Shop Manager in recruiting, supporting and developing a strong, community‑focused shop team. You will empower the team to maximise Shelter’s income, represent Shelter in the local community, and ensure a safe, clean, bright and welcoming environment for both volunteers and customers.
About You
You are an energetic, friendly, and personable individual with enthusiasm for managing and empowering people. Your motivational skills will inspire your team to increase sales and control costs. You are proficient in Microsoft Office and other systems used by the shop, and you are eager to learn more about Shelter’s cause.
