What\’s the role: As a Shift Supervisor, you\’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our terminal-supporting major UK airports and mobility customers. With an annual throughput of ~2 billion litres, this Upper Tier COMAH site is central to the UK\’s energy transition and decarbonisation efforts. We operate 24/7, 365 days a year, and your leadership will be essential in maintaining safe operations, supporting our people, and ensuring product supply continuity. Responsibilities
- Lead & undertake operational activities during your shift, acting as the empowered deputy outside core hours.
- Ensure compliance with HSSE policies and the Terminal Operations Manual.
- Supervise contractors and staff, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Oversee product import/export, plant maintenance, and inventory security.
- Conduct emergency response drills and support first aid readiness.
- Investigate stock variances and maintain system accuracy.
- Experience supervising operational teams in a safety-critical environment.
- Knowledge of terminal equipment, plant operations, and maintenance systems.
- Familiarity with emergency response procedures and customer satisfaction drivers.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
