What is the Role?
As Software Engineer, we expect you to have proven experience in adhering to software engineering best practices, delivering software products/applications generating business value. They are expected to have a continuous improvement mindset, driving value-based process, product/application optimization.
What we need from you:
- Solution consultation and development in accordance with the enterprise technology principles, methods, standards, and practices
- Stakeholder Management - Drives a One Team mindset
- Business Intelligence - Understands T&S business domain and impacts of industry movements
- Estimation, solution design, detailed technical design, application technical deliverables including code, associated tests, and documentation
- Contribution to functional excellence in terms of definition and maintenance of standards, methods and tools, bringing in best practices from market standard implementations.
- Manage complex integration scenarios and interfaces between on-premises solutions, cloud, and legacy systems
- Liaise with multiple technology teams, operations, and product contacts of varying degrees of seniority to facilitate project delivery
- Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
- Working closely with the product and UX Team to work on user experience optimization
- Connecting app with backend services
- Collaborate with the lead functional developer to define, develop, test, and release new features
- Provide workarounds & bug fixes for urgent production issues
What you’ll bring:
- Significant years of experience in developing software solutions with proven years of relevant experience in Microsoft technologies
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with backend technologies such as NodeJS (Typescript), Python, GoLang (good to have) and GraphQL (good to have)
- Experience with frontend technologies such as ReactJS, .NET, .NET core
- Experience with database technologies such as SQL DB, Oracle
- Experience with data-rich JavaScript/HTML/CSS applications
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Microsoft Azure/AWS, GitHub
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, coding, testing, and automation skills
- Passion for performance, accessibility, and reliability improvements
- Familiar with DevOps, Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment
- A solid background in Computer Science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and deftness at object-oriented design and systems architecture
