Shell UK Mobility and Convenience represent one of the largest customer-facing businesses within Shell, serving millions of customers every week across our Fuels, Convenience Retail and Shell Recharge charging network. Shell Recharge has become a key growth area for our UK Mobility and Convenience business. The UK Mobility Pricing Team is responsible for delivering value through the implementation of effective pricing strategies across both Fuels and EV, ensuring we remain competitive while delivering volume, margin and ensuring customer value. Working in the UK Mobility Pricing Team provides a unique opportunity to directly influence Shell UK's commercial performance. You will work alongside experienced professionals, using advanced analytics and strategic thinking to shape pricing decisions that deliver value today whilst supporting the continued growth of Shell's Mobility business into the future.
What’s the role
Reporting directly to the UK Pricing & Demand Manager, you are responsible for setting and managing EV pricing to deliver EV margin and volume across our Shell Recharge public charging network and roaming partnership portfolio, while supporting the development of Shell's long-term EV pricing strategy. You will monitor commercial performance, customer behaviour, competitor activity and market developments, using data and insights to identify opportunities and deliver pricing recommendations that deliver value for Shell and our customers. Working collaboratively across Marketing, Finance, IDT, and Global Pricing teams, you will play a key role in shaping the future of EV pricing within Shell, supporting the continued growth of one of the UK's leading public EV charging networks.
What you’ll be doing
- Own the development, execution and continuous optimisation of Shell UK's EV pricing strategy, maximising revenue, margin, utilisation and customer value.
- Monitor commercial performance across Shell's on-net and off-net charging networks.
- Analyse electricity costs, competitor pricing, market dynamics and customer behaviour to identify value opportunities.
- Generate reporting, commercial analysis and actionable pricing insights using Power BI, Excel, SQL and other analytical tools.
- Build business cases, financial models and pricing recommendations for new propositions, promotional campaigns and pricing initiatives.
- Design, implement and evaluate pricing trials, supporting the development of differentiated and dynamic pricing, time-of-day/time-of-use tariffs, subscription and promotional campaigns.
- Support the continuous development and enhancement of Shell's EV pricing system, processes, and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Finance, Roaming, B2B, IDT and other cross-functional teams, presenting pricing analysis, recommendations and performance updates to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure all pricing activities comply with Shell governance requirements, relevant legislation and competition law.
- Operating within and adapting to a rapidly evolving EV charging market.
- Balancing commercial performance with customer competitiveness and network growth.
- Making effective pricing decisions using complex data in a dynamic environment.

What you bring
- Experience in EV pricing or EV commercial strategy with a proven track record of delivering commercial value.
- Strong analytical capability and experience interpreting large, complex datasets.
- Experience influencing stakeholders across different levels of seniority.
- Knowledge of retail, energy, mobility or EV charging markets is advantageous.
- Strong commercial acumen with a customer-focused mindset.
- Analytical mindset and strong Excel knowledge.
- Experience using Power BI and SQL or similar analytical tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a dynamic commercial environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point), and Interest in/Experience with Data Analytics/Visualisation applications.
