Shelftrak is looking for an experienced Account Director to lead and deepen relationships with key clients in the travel retail channel. This role is focused on owning senior client relationships, understanding each client’s commercial priorities, and working closely with internal teams to ensure Shelftrak delivers high-quality, actionable insight on a day-to-day basis. The Account Director will play a critical role in turning Shelftrak data into clear guidance that helps clients improve execution, make better decisions, and unlock growth — while also identifying opportunities to grow revenue through additional project work.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop senior relationships with Shelftrak’s key brand clients
- Act as the primary day-to-day client contact, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery
- Understand each client’s business priorities, challenges, and commercial objectives
- Use Shelftrak data to identify clear execution gaps, opportunities, and recommendations
- Translate complex data into simple, commercially relevant insights and guidance
- Work closely with the internal delivery, insight, and field teams to ensure outputs meet client expectations
- Proactively identify opportunities for additional analysis, projects, or services that add value for clients and drive incremental revenue for Shelftrak
- Support client planning cycles, reviews, and senior stakeholder presentations
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in travel retail, ideally from a brand-side role in category management, commercial development, or a similar function
- Strong understanding of retail execution, including shelf layout, ranging, pricing, promotions, and in-store compliance
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders in global brand owner organisations
- Confident working with data and insights, and translating them into clear commercial actions
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercially minded, with the ability to spot growth opportunities and build value-led proposals
