A local authority in North London are looking for a Social Worker to join their Parenting Capacity Assessment Team. This is a Full-Time Permanent Social Work role. About The Team: You will be part of a specialist team working within the internal resource for conducting of all court directed parenting capacity assessments and delivering on specialist parenting programmes. Key Responsibilities: Conduct Parenting Assessments within timescales according to the framework. Evaluate and identify levels of risk and need for children and young people in care, on a child protection plan, or identified as children in need. Deliver protective or supportive services to ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people. Implement care plans by collaborating with parents and professionals from various agencies. About You: Experience in undertaking specialist PAM’s assessments and using a psychodynamic framework to understand family dynamics. Knowledge of parenting programs and experience in conducting them to support families in reaching their potential. Car Driver and Access to a vehicle is desirable. BA(Hons) in Social Work and to be registered with Social Work England (SWE).
