We are currently working with Essex Council to find an experienced Social Worker for their Children with Disabilities team in Childrens Services. With a stable management team and a mostly permanent workforce, Essex are looking for someone with solid experience to be able to pick up a caseload and support their service.
Duties:
- Completing Section 47’s and section 17 enquiries
- Working closely with multi-agency partners, including OT’s, CAMHS, paediatric and SEND partners
- Undertake Section 7 and Section 37 reports and attend Court
- Long term engagement with families, including direct work, capturing the voice of the Child
- Write conference reports and attend conferences
- Undertake all Child Protection work from the initial conference onwards
