Sandwell | Agency | Up to £33.30 per hour Senior Practitioner | MASH Team (Children\’s) | Hybrid Working Sandwell Council is seeking a skilled and experienced Children’s Senior Practitioner to join their fast-paced Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). This is a vital frontline role in safeguarding children, working closely with partners to screen referrals, assess risk, and make timely, informed decisions. You\’ll play a key role in coordinating responses to safeguarding concerns and guiding practitioners in complex decision-making within a multi-agency setting. Key Responsibilities: Screen and analyse referrals relating to children and families Apply threshold criteria and make clear safeguarding decisions Work closely with Police, Health, Education, and other partners Support and guide junior staff within the MASH Contribute to strategy meetings and multi-agency planning Maintain accurate and timely case records Practice Model: This role requires strong safeguarding knowledge, excellent decision-making, and the ability to respond quickly and effectively. The team offers hybrid working, with a combination of office and remote work.
