Leicestershire County Council is recruiting a skilled Children and Family Services (CFS) Social Worker to join their Child Protection Team based in Wigston. This is a high-impact role working with children and families under Child Protection and Pre-Proceedings plans. The post offers hybrid working, with an expectation to attend the office when required. You’ll hold a manageable caseload of up to 16 complex CP cases, working alongside a strong team with excellent management oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hold and manage a caseload of up to 16 children under CP and pre-proceedings
- Undertake robust assessments and develop child-centred protection plans
- Work within the PLO framework and contribute to legal planning
- Maintain accurate and timely records
- Work collaboratively with families and multi-agency professionals to reduce risk

Essential Requirements:
