Office Working: 4 Days per week

We are currently working with Portsmouth City Council to find an experienced Social Worker for their Family Help Team in the Children’s Services. With a stable management team and a mostly permanent workforce, Portsmouth City Council are looking for someone with solid experience to be able to pick up a caseload and support their service.

Duties:

  • Completing Section 47’s and section 17 enquiries
  • Undertake Section 7 and 37 reports, as well as attending Court, and providing analysis and evidence-based recommendations
  • Long term engagement with families, including direct work, capturing the voice of the child
  • Write conference reports and attend conferences, such as Core Group Meetings
