Peterborough City Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join its Safeguarding Team. You will work with children and families where safeguarding concerns have been identified, completing assessments and delivering interventions to ensure children are protected and supported effectively. This is a supportive and well-structured service with a strong focus on multi-agency collaboration and achieving positive outcomes for children.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake Section 47 enquiries and Child and Family Assessments.
- Manage a caseload of CIN and CP cases, including court work where required.
- Develop and implement robust safety and support plans.

- Undertake direct work with children and families.
- Prepare high-quality reports for conferences, reviews, and court.
- Maintain accurate and timely case records.
