Senior Child Protection Practitioner - Gloucestershire County Council Location: Shire Hall, GL1 2TG Pay/Salary: up to £50 per hour Office Working: 3 Days per week Contract: Locum We are currently working with Gloucestershire County Council to find an experienced Child Protection Practitioner for their locality teams in Children’s Services. With a stable management team and a GOOD Ofsted, Gloucestershire are looking for someone with solid experience to be able to pick up a caseload and support their service. Duties Oversee the quality and impact of the child protection response across the locality Report to the Multi-Agency Child Protection Team Manager, leading day-to-day delivery Promote consistently strong, family-led and child-centred practice Line managing Lead CP Practitioners Provide matrix management for key partner agency leads Support complex safeguarding decision to ensure work is allocated to progress cases effectively Hold a small caseload to model exemplary social work, and use supervision, reflective discussion, workshops and case mapping to develop practitioners  Using performance information, audit findings and local needs analysis to identify demand, address drift or delay What you need Social Work Qualification Social Work England registration Enhanced DBS (provided by us) Why use us?
