We are currently working with Leicestershire County Council to find an experienced Social Worker for their Assessment Team within Children’s Services. With a stable management team and an OUTSTANDING Ofsted, Leicestershire are looking for someone with solid experience to be able to pick up a caseload.
Duties
- Carry out needs led child focused assessments
- Hold a caseload of single assessments (S17) and S47 investigations
- Participate in the duty system, responding to safeguarding concerns
- Prioritise demand and make effective use of time
- Listen and promote the voice of the child
