Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Children in Care Team. You’ll support children and young people throughout their care journey, providing high-quality assessments, planning, and direct work that promotes safety, stability, and improved long-term outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in statutory children’s services and a passion for making a meaningful difference to young lives. This role requires a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualifying experience within an English local authority (as per DfE requirements). The service offers a manageable caseload, regular monthly supervision, and the benefit of joining a high-morale team within a ‘Good’ rated authority.

Important: This role requires office presence in the BCP area at least 3 days per week. Candidates must also be essential car users with access to their own vehicle.
